"Six months ago our company had a new telephone system installed in
all the buildings. One of our satellite offices has lost 6 telephones in
2 months at $725.00 per telephone."
"The individual suspected of removing the telephones has been
working in the evenings. We do have two security officers on duty, but
they have come up with nothing. Our logbook shows a Vending Company
employee coming in during the evenings. He has a dolly loaded with
cardboard boxes and soda. The empty cardboard boxes leave the building
with him."
Using the mercury switch triggers in one cubicle area we place four
triggers inside four telephones. The moment the
telephone is picked up it will turn on the Bullet Camera and
Transmitter/RT-C that is placed on a shelf facing the cubicles. As the
individual comes out he/she will be recorded. Not only will the recorder
start recording, but we are also using the Event Trigger Paging System
and both Security Officers have pagers on. The moment the telephone is
picked up the Officers will be paged, and knowing exactly what the page
means they will be able to apprehend the individual as well as the
telephones.
